Why should someone buy my songs and watch my videos
Hello. My name is Joe Wesley (aka Autmuse). When I was in the 3rd grade, I was diagnosed with high functioning autism, formerly known as Aspergers. I have always enjoyed listening to music and watching certain videos. These videos would either energize me or help me to fall asleep depending on the type & content.
I have always wanted to make my own music & videos. I thought that if these helped me so much, maybe the stuff I made would help other people on the autistic spectrum as well. After many years of practice and hard work, I have created the Autmuse Network.
Autmuse has many different types of music to listen to and a handful of really cool videos I created & uploaded to Youtube. For example, I created a variety of rollercoasters to ride. I found that watching these virtual rides calmed me when I became anxious and conversely, created a happy diversion when I became bored. My sincere hope is that these songs & videos will bring peace & joy to others like me living on the autistic spectrum. I hope you enjoy my website so much that you decide to visit it & share it with your friends who live heroically w/ autism or those who live with & love them. On a side note, my music could calm someone down either at school or work. Thanks for your Interest for The Autmuse network. I hope to talk with you soon.
Joseph Wesley is an artist. His creative platforms include primarily music and video production where he has worked personally and professionally for the last 10 years. As with many people diagnosed with autism, art is a place where we can connect with people and where the mind finds peace.
As a way to connect with those around him, Joseph began exploring music. For years, his family and friends struggled to understand the mind of those on the Autistic Spectrum. Joseph found a way to communicate his discovery through art--and more importantly, through music. ArtMuse is his artform. It is a journey of exploration through the mind of those with any sort of Autism.
"I love starting from scratch. I start off with nothing, not even one idea in my head, but then you put down one loop and another and eventually you end up with one fantastic and inspiring piece of work. Start with nothing, and end with everything. Sometimes I make a sound so cool it either makes my head start bobbing or a tear start dropping from my face. I experiment with music experiments because it can eventually turn into full songs. If I didn't experiment, nothing would ever be created."
GAMES
Some of the games that you play give you opportunities most people wouldn’t usually get in real life. For example being an airline pilot w/o a license or becoming a rollercoaster designer. All that and more on the games page...
MUSIC
Music transports me to other unique mysterious worlds. The music found here will help you fall asleep quicker. It can also wake you up in the morning and be a great way to start off your day. All different kinds of music especially mine help me get through my day and life. Lots of stuff to listen to on the music page...
My idea is if a certain video that I create or discover helps me relax it might also help you to... theres some magic in watching videos that transport you to another time and place in the comfort of your own home.
One thing that helps me get through a day is to write about how I’m feeling. Hopefully my insights will help you also...
